### A. Standard Mode

For Standard Mode, Liberty Swap facilitates user-initiated blockchain transactions using account abstraction and intent-based routing. Transactions are recorded on public blockchains and are publicly observable via standard blockchain explorers. Liberty Swap does not collect or retain personal data, wallet addresses, or transaction histories, and does not monitor or analyze user activity beyond transient processing required to execute the requested operation. Users independently verify transactions using on-chain data.

### B. Private Mode

Private Mode is conducted with on-chain zero-knowledge privacy technology to enable transactions that obscure sender addresses, recipient addresses, asset types, and transferred amounts at the blockchain level. Transactions are executed using cryptographic proofs rather than transparent transfers. Liberty Swap does not have access to private balances, viewing keys, or decrypted transaction data and does not retain any off-chain records of private transactions. While this mode is designed to enhance transactional confidentiality, Liberty Swap does not provide legal anonymity guarantees and users remain responsible for complying with applicable laws and regulations in their jurisdiction.

* Conduct decentralized digital asset swaps across various Layer 1 and Layer 2 blockchain protocols;
* Choose between Standard Swap and Private Swap modes, with the latter integrating privacy mechanisms such as randomized routing, time-delayed execution, and optional use of privacy-centric networks;
* Utilize the Platform without creating user accounts or undergoing centralized custody or control by Liberty Swap;
* Connect via non-custodial wallets to perform smart contract interactions directly.

All swaps are facilitated through smart contracts and/or relayed across privacy bridges, ensuring that Liberty Swap does not ever hold, custody, or have access to your digital assets.

Liberty Swap provides limited support services through encrypted communication channels strictly for operational assistance, not for asset management or user account intervention.

We offer two distinct transaction modes:

### 2.1 Standard Mode

This mode supports general cross-chain swaps through optimized routing algorithms. Users may conduct swaps via transparent smart contract interactions, which typically settle through visible chain operations.

### 2.2 Private Mode

This mode adds layers of transaction privacy using one or more of the following techniques:

* Obfuscation through randomized intermediaries.
* Integration with privacy-focused smart contracts (e.g., RAILGUN, etc.).
* Transaction delays or batching to prevent temporal correlation.
* Non-interactive zero-knowledge proof (zk-SNARKs) usage where applicable.

Private Mode is a non-custodial software feature that facilitates user-initiated blockchain transactions. We do not offer financial advice, investment recommendations, or custodial services. We also do not guarantee transaction completion times; intermediate, reverse, or censor user transactions; and/or collect personal data or maintain off-chain records of user activity. The Services are software utilities facilitating transaction execution; users are wholly responsible for their own actions and decision-making.

### 4.1 No Custody

Liberty Swap is a non-custodial infrastructure. At no point does Liberty Swap have possession, control, or access to user funds, private keys, or signing credentials. You maintain full custody of your digital assets at all times.

### 4.2 Wallet Requirements

All transactions initiated via Liberty Swap require the use of a self-custodial wallet compatible with the blockchain(s) you wish to transact on. Examples include MetaMask, Rabby, Ledger, Trezor, Trust Wallet, and others supported via WalletConnect.

### 4.3 Transaction Finality

Transactions submitted through the Services are executed directly on the blockchain via user-controlled wallets. These are irreversible and cannot be reversed, canceled, or modified once confirmed by the network.

### 4.4 Smart Contract Use

Liberty Swap leverages autonomous smart contracts deployed on various public blockchain networks. Users interact with these contracts at their own risk. We do not control or alter the execution logic of deployed smart contracts once verified and published.

## 5. Wallet Connectivity and Interoperability

### 5.1 Supported Wallets

Liberty Swap supports a broad range of EVM-compatible wallets, hardware wallets, and browser extensions. Users are responsible for verifying wallet security and compatibility before initiating any transaction.

### 5.2 Key Management

We do not store seed phrases, recovery words, or passwords. You bear full responsibility for safeguarding your wallet credentials. If you lose access to your wallet, we cannot recover funds or provide technical intervention.

### 5.3 Cross-Chain Capabilities

Transactions involving different blockchains may require third-party bridges or relayers. Liberty Swap does not operate such bridges directly but may route through existing decentralized protocols. All bridge-related risks are borne by the user.

Users who connect via third-party dApps, aggregators, or DeFi dashboards must understand and accept that Liberty Swap is not responsible for the reliability, security, or legality of those tools. You must independently evaluate the risks before proceeding.

Any violation of this internal policy shall result in immediate termination of the individual’s engagement with Liberty Swap and may be subject to further remedies under applicable law. You must not send assets directly to any Liberty Swap smart contract address or liquidity pool address unless explicitly instructed through the official Liberty Swap interface or verified communication channels. Doing so — including sending unsupported tokens, omitting required parameters (e.g., memo, tag, or payload), or interacting with the wrong network — may result in the permanent and unrecoverable loss of funds. Liberty Swap has no ability to reverse, cancel, or recover such transactions and shall bear no responsibility for any loss arising from user error.

### 9.2 Gas Fees

You are responsible for paying network gas fees required to process transactions on the underlying blockchains. These are separate from Liberty Swap’s protocol-level fees and may vary significantly depending on network congestion.

Liberty Swap does **not** buy, endorse, or promote any specific tokens or projects created on PumpTires - with the sole exception of our community mascot token, PCOCK, which exists as a symbolic representation of community culture.

## **Intent-Abstraction & Solver Network**

At the heart of Liberty Swap is an *intent abstraction* engine. When a user submits a swap request, the protocol translates it into a sequence of on-chain operations. A distributed network of solver/relayer nodes then performs the actual token exchanges and transfers. Crucially, this separation means the user is only signing a high-level intent, not each individual transaction, and the relayers execute each step on-chain. The relayers coordinate to optimize routes and liquidity, and they are incentivized to fulfill swaps efficiently. Because the user’s intent is decoupled from execution, no single party ever sees the complete transaction trail. This split execution model (sometimes called “dual-hop”) is a core privacy feature.

## **Dual-Hop Privacy Execution**

Every swap is broken into two independent legs, handled by separate relayers (or “nodes”).&#x20;

In practice, *Node A* accepts the user’s input token on the source chain and swaps it into an intermediate asset (often a stablecoin on a random chain).&#x20;

*Node B* then takes that intermediate asset and swaps it to the destination token on the target chain, finally sending it to the user’s specified address.&#x20;

Because Node A and Node B never share information about both ends of the swap, no single relayer ever learns both the sender’s and recipient’s identity or token path. This two-step execution effectively “severs” the on-chain link between sender and receiver.

## **Account/Gas Abstraction**

Liberty Swap incorporates account abstraction and gas-payment abstraction so that users don’t need native gas tokens (like ETH) in their wallets. Behind the scenes, the protocol can sponsor or aggregate gas costs, letting users pay fees in stablecoins or even bypass gas altogether when possible. This account-abstraction layer means users simply fund a swap (in USDC or another supported token) and sign it, without manually acquiring chain-native gas. All complex fee payment and bundling is handled by the protocol’s smart contracts and relayers.

## RAILGUN Integration (Private Mode)

Private mode integrates RAILGUN, an on-chain zero-knowledge privacy system, directly into Liberty Swap’s execution pipeline. When private mode is selected, swaps and cross-chain transfers are executed using zero-knowledge proofs.

In this mode, transaction settlement conceals sender and recipient addresses, asset types, and transferred amounts from public view. On-chain observers see only privacy-preserving contract interactions, without access to the underlying economic details. Liberty Swap itself does not possess viewing keys, decryption capabilities, or access to private balances.

RAILGUN integration is strictly **non-custodial and user-controlled**. Users retain sole authority over their private keys and shielded assets. Liberty Swap smart contracts interface with the privacy layer only to verify cryptographic proofs and enforce intent constraints. This architecture ensures that privacy is achieved through cryptography rather than trust assumptions.

Cross-chain swaps between non-PulseChain networks (for example, Base ↔ Ethereum) are conditionally enabled only when sufficient liquidity and execution guarantees are available, ensuring predictable settlement and minimizing execution risk.

All supported operations are non-custodial and executed entirely on-chain.

## 🔄 Standard Swaps

In standard mode, Liberty Swap executes swaps using account abstraction and intent-based routing. This mode is optimized for speed, composability, and ease of use, while preserving non-custodial guarantees.

Each user-initiated intent is assigned a **unique Order ID**, generated solely for temporary status tracking within the Liberty Swap interface. The Order ID serves as a short-lived reference to the execution lifecycle (e.g., pending, executing, completed) and automatically expires after **24 hours**. It is not a persistent identifier and is not linked to wallet addresses, transaction hashes, or any form of user identity.

Upon successful execution, the user interface may display:

* the **Order ID**, for short-term confirmation and support reference, and
* the **on-chain transaction hash(es)** produced by the underlying blockchain execution.

Transaction hashes are provided strictly for user-side verification and transparency. Liberty Swap does **not** store, index, or retain transaction hashes, wallet addresses, or execution metadata off-chain. No internal mapping exists between Order IDs and transaction hashes once execution is complete.

As a result, only the user, by virtue of controlling the originating wallet or destination address, can independently verify or track a completed operation using public blockchain explorers. Liberty Swap does not monitor user transactions after execution and does not maintain any proprietary record of user activity after 24 hours.

This design ensures that:

* post-settlement traceability is entirely under user control, and
* Liberty Swap cannot correlate orders, addresses, or transactions across time.

In private execution mode, this principle is further strengthened through zero-knowledge settlement, where transaction hashes themselves do not reveal sender, recipient, asset type, or transferred amount. In both modes, privacy is preserved by design, and verification authority rests solely with the user.

The fastest path to use Standard Mode is to connect any EVM-compatible wallet (e.g. MetaMask, Rabby, Internet Money, or Pulse Wallet) and submit a swap intent. The user signs a single transaction in their wallet, and the protocol’s relayers immediately execute the swap. Because the user’s wallet is directly involved, execution is typically very quick (on the order of 0–2 minutes) and gas costs are minimized. The trade is settled on-chain with one signature, and the user’s funds remain in their wallet until the last step.&#x20;

This standard mode applies account-abstraction technology so that the user need not hold any particular chain’s gas token, which makes it highly efficient and secure.

## 🕵️ Private Swaps

Liberty Swap's Private Swaps are designed for users prioritizing privacy and anonymity in their transactions. For users requiring strong anonymity, Liberty Swap’s Private Mode leverages the Railgun privacy protocol.

In practice, the user’s swap order is sent to Liberty Swap relayers, which deposit the funds into Railgun smart contracts. The Railgun system then generates zero-knowledge proofs so that the sender’s address, recipient’s address, and transfer amounts become confidential on-chain. After the zk-proof verifies on the target chain, the destination token is released to the receiver’s address. Throughout this process, no on-chain observer can link the input to the output. Railgun privatizes the sender, recipient, asset, and amount simultaneously.

Liberty Swap does not have access to viewing keys, private balances, or decrypted transaction details. Privacy guarantees are enforced cryptographically and remain fully under user control. Private mode operations incur additional computational overhead and may have longer settlement times compared to standard mode, reflecting the cost of zero-knowledge proof generation and verification. However, they provide more anonymity: the swap path mostly cannot be traced.

Private Mode is optional and distinct from Liberty Swap’s standard execution mode. Users explicitly choose when to enter or exit privacy.

### Transaction Tracking and Privacy

Each Private Mode transaction is assigned a temporary Order ID for user-side status tracking. The Order ID:

* Exists solely to communicate execution state to the user.
* Automatically expires after 24 hours.
* Is not stored alongside wallet addresses or transaction hashes.

Liberty Swap does **not** retain transaction hashes, wallet identifiers, or user metadata. Users who wish to independently verify execution may do so using their own wallet addresses and on-chain explorers. Privacy guarantees remain intact regardless of whether verification is performed.

Due to the multi-layered nature of zero-knowledge execution and cross-chain settlement, private transactions may involve longer confirmation windows than standard swaps.

LibertySwap is not a custodian, wallet provider, or identity broker.

LibertySwap is designed to minimize data exposure by default. When users utilize Railgun Routes, LibertySwap only processes the minimum technical information required to complete swaps, while Railgun ensures cryptographic privacy at the transaction level.

# Railgun Private Sends: Privacy and Fee Structure

## What are Railgun Private Sends?

Railgun has three forms of transactions inside of shielded balances with different levels of privacy: Private Sends, Private Swap, and Private DeFi.

Private Sends are transfers from one shielded address to another shielded address inside Railgun with the highest level of privacy: complete privacy. This is the simplest and strongest privacy flow in Railgun.

* No public blockchain transaction is created.
* No miner or validator interaction is required.
* No gas is paid by the user.

Because nothing is written publicly on chain, the cost is minimal and predictable.

## Railgun Private Sends Fee Structure and Estimation

For a Railgun 0zk → 0zk private transfer on Ethereum, the fee you pay is essentially independent of the value transferred. Whether you send $10 or $100,000, the underlying transaction cost remains roughly the same. This is because the fee is driven by computation and network gas price, not the dollar amount of the transfer.

* Ethereum gas prices rise due to higher demand.
* You choose a relayer charging a higher premium.


# Cross-Chain Swaps

Liberty Swap provides a non-custodial, intent-based mechanism for executing cross-chain swaps across multiple blockchain networks. The protocol is designed to allow users to exchange assets between chains while retaining control over execution parameters, custody, and privacy posture. All cross-chain swaps are executed through deterministic smart contract logic and cryptographic authorization, without reliance on centralized intermediaries or off-chain custody.

Cross-chain functionality within Liberty Swap is **PulseChain-centered by design**, enabling efficient capital movement into and out of the PulseChain ecosystem while maintaining conditional support for other inter-chain routes when liquidity and execution reliability thresholds are met.

## 1. Supported Blockchains

Liberty Swap currently supports cross-chain swaps across **six blockchain networks**, with additional networks under active evaluation:

## 2. Supported Assets and Swap Directionality

### Standard Execution Mode

In standard execution mode, Liberty Swap supports a defined set of input tokens that may be used to initiate cross-chain swaps: USDC, USDT, DAI, ETH, PCOCK, PLS, and PDAI.

From these inputs, users may swap into **hundreds of supported destination tokens** across available networks. Destination asset availability depends on network support and real-time liquidity conditions. Liberty Swap does not guarantee availability of any specific asset pair.

### Private Execution Mode

Private execution mode is currently available on a limited basis. At present, private cross-chain swaps are supported only for:

* ETH (Ethereum) ↔ WETH (PulseChain)

This restriction reflects the additional cryptographic and liquidity requirements of zero-knowledge execution. Private mode support will expand incrementally as infrastructure and liquidity conditions allow. Availability of private routes should not be assumed beyond those explicitly listed at the time of execution.

### Swap Routing Model

Liberty Swap employs a PulseChain-centered routing model. Cross-chain swaps involving PulseChain, either inbound or outbound, are prioritized and broadly supported.

Cross-chain swaps that do **not** involve PulseChain (for example, Base ↔ Ethereum) may be enabled selectively. Such routes are made available only when sufficient liquidity depth, pricing stability, and execution reliability can be maintained. This conditional routing policy is intended to protect users from partial execution, excessive delays, extreme volatility, or unpredictable settlement outcomes.

All routing decisions are constrained by the user’s signed intent and executed deterministically. Liberty Swap does not exercise discretionary control over trade outcomes or asset pricing.

### Execution Flow

When initiating a cross-chain swap, the user defines an intent specifying:

* execution mode (standard or private),
* input asset and amount,
* destination chain and asset.

Each intent is assigned a temporary Order ID for status tracking. Upon execution, the underlying blockchain transactions generate one or more transaction hashes, which are verifiable directly on the respective networks. Liberty Swap does not retain transaction hashes or maintain off-chain transaction records. Verification remains entirely user-controlled via public blockchain explorers.

## 3. Fees

Liberty Swap applies a transparent, flat transaction fee model for cross-chain swaps:

* **Inbound swap fee:** 0.3%
* **Outbound swap fee:** 0.5%

These fees are applied deterministically based on swap direction and execution path. Fee rates may be adjusted in response to liquidity conditions, network costs, or market dynamics. Any applicable fees are disclosed to the user prior to confirmation and execution.

## 4. Swap Limits

To maintain liquidity stability and protect user experience, each transaction must adhere to the following constraints:

* **Minimum Swap Size:** 10 USDC/0.003 ETH (or equivalent)
* **Maximum Swap Size:** 25,000 USDC/20 ETH (or equivalent)

Limits may vary by route or execution mode and may be updated as liquidity conditions evolve. These constraints are enforced programmatically and disclosed prior to execution.

# Solana ⇄ PulseChain Bridging

As Liberty Swap prepares to open direct bridging between Solana (SVM) and PulseChain (EVM), it is critical for all users to understand the inherent technical differences and risks involved.

## Cross-Chain Complexity: Solana vs. EVM

Bridging from Solana to an EVM-compatible blockchain like PulseChain is not as straightforward as other EVM-to-EVM transfers. The Solana and EVM ecosystems are fundamentally different in how they manage cryptographic keys and wallet infrastructure.

### ⚠️ Key Incompatibility Warning

Solana and EVM chains use **different cryptographic curves**:

* **Solana:** Uses `Ed25519`
* **EVM Chains (Ethereum, PulseChain, BNB, Arbitrum, Base, etc.):** Use `secp256k1`

These cryptographic schemes are **not natively compatible**. While it is *technically* possible to derive or convert keypairs across chains using advanced tools, this is **strongly discouraged** in production environments due to the following risks:

* 🔐 **Security Vulnerabilities:** Nonstandard keypair converters or smart wallet hacks may expose your keys or funds.
* ⚠️ **Lack of Guarantees:** These methods are often experimental, centralized, or unsupported by mainstream wallet providers.
* ❌ **Incompatible Wallets:** Common Solana wallets like **Phantom** and other EVM wallets like might not share infrastructure and cannot use the same private key safely.

## Recommended Best Practices

To ensure the safe use of our Solana–PulseChain bridge, we advise all users to:

* **Maintain separate seed phrases and private keys** for Solana and EVM-compatible blockchains.
* **Use a trusted multi-chain wallet** such as:
  * **Ledger** (hardware wallet with native support for both key types)
  * **Rabby Wallet** or **XDEFI Wallet** (multi-chain software wallets with dedicated key management)
* **Double-check recipient addresses** when bridging assets. While Liberty Swap's bridging system ensures safe and accurate execution, incorrect address input by users cannot be reversed.

## Built-In Warnings for Safety

To mitigate the risk of misconfiguration:

* Liberty Swap implements **dynamic warning systems** that alert users during the bridging process.
* When operating on an EVM chain, users may be prompted to switch to a compatible PulseChain wallet.
* However, for **SVM ⇄ EVM transfers**, **error recovery is significantly more limited**. Always verify that your wallet is compatible and correctly configured before initiating a transfer.

## How Shielding Works

1. Users start with assets on a public blockchain.
2. Liberty Shield routes the assets into Railgun or other privacy contracts.
3. Funds appear as shielded balances inside Railgun or other privacy contract balances.
4. Public transaction history is broken, and assets gain strong privacy guarantees.

From this point forward, all actions originate from shielded balances.

## How Unshielding Works

1. Users choose a destination chain and asset.
2. Liberty Shield routes funds out of Railgun or other privacy contract balances
3. Assets are delivered directly to the destination chain.
4. The user receives funds without revealing source history.

This works even if the destination chain does not natively support Railgun.

# Minimum Swap Size

Liberty DEX does not enforce a fixed minimum swap amount at the protocol level. However, the availability of Liberty DEX routing depends on whether a swap can be executed efficiently under current network conditions.

In practice, swaps below a certain value threshold may not be routed through Liberty DEX. This is because the total execution cost, including network fees and routing complexity, must remain economically viable for executors.

The effective minimum swap size is therefore dynamic and may vary depending on factors such as:

* executor participation

If a swap does not meet these conditions, it may be routed through alternative execution paths within the interface instead of Liberty DEX.

# Execution Model

Liberty DEX operates through an intent-based swap system.

Instead of directly submitting a transaction to an AMM, a user signs an off-chain order describing the desired trade parameters. This signed order specifies the asset being sold, the asset being received, and acceptable pricing bounds.

The order is then broadcast to a network of independent executors. Each executor evaluates whether the order can be profitably fulfilled by combining liquidity sources, routing strategies, or internal inventory.

If an executor determines that the order can be filled within the specified parameters, the executor submits an on-chain transaction that completes the swap. In return for executing the trade, the executor captures any remaining routing surplus.

To ensure users always receive competitive pricing, orders may gradually adjust over time within the defined bounds. This mechanism allows other executors to step in if better execution becomes available.

# Swap Execution Errors

In some situations, a Liberty DEX swap request may not be executed successfully. When this occurs, the interface may display a notification indicating that the swap could not be completed at that moment.

A swap may fail to execute for several reasons, including:

#### Submission errors

An issue may occur while broadcasting the signed order to the Liberty DEX execution network. If the order is not successfully propagated, it cannot be evaluated by executors.

#### Signature issues

If a problem occurs during the order signing process, the order cannot be validated or processed by the execution layer.

#### Token approval inconsistencies

In certain cases, existing token approvals may prevent the order from being processed correctly. Revoking the approval and submitting a new approval transaction can resolve this issue.

Because Liberty DEX orders are created and distributed off-chain, a failed or unfilled swap does not generate an on-chain transaction from the user. As a result, no network fees are incurred when execution is unsuccessful.

If a swap cannot be filled, the order can simply be submitted again after the issue has been resolved.

**Native asset handling**

When swapping native assets (such as PLS, WPLS), an additional transaction may be required to convert the asset into its wrapped/unwrapped equivalent before execution. This step incurs network fees.

# Network Costs

As explained in Supported Operations, Liberty Swap is deliberately data-minimal: the **Order ID** shown after a standard swap is a temporary, non-identifying reference that expires after 24 hours, and Liberty Swap does not store transaction hashes, wallet addresses, or execution metadata off-chain once a swap has settled. That design protects your privacy, but it also means Liberty Swap itself keeps no long-term internal record you can query after the fact.

LibertyScan fills that gap. Instead of relying on Liberty Swap to retain a private record of your activity, LibertyScan reads and presents the same information that is already public on-chain - organized specifically around Liberty Swap routes and fills, so you don't have to cross-reference multiple chains' explorers by hand.


# Accessing LibertyScan

Go to [scan.libertyswap.finance](https://scan.libertyswap.finance). The page shares the same top navigation as the rest of the ecosystem (Swap, DEX, Shield, Pool, Hypermarket), so you can move between LibertyScan and the other apps without re-entering the site. A **Connect Wallet** button sits in the top-right corner, available from anywhere in LibertyScan.


# All Transactions vs. My Transactions

LibertyScan splits its view into two tabs:

* **All Transactions** - the default view. A general, unfiltered feed of routes and fills processed through Liberty Swap, showing everyone's transactions, newest first.
* **My Transactions** - filtered to your own activity.

Switching to **My Transactions** without a connected wallet shows an empty state: a wallet icon, the heading **"Connect your wallet,"** the line *"Connect a wallet to filter the explorer down to your own transactions,"* and a **Connect Wallet** button. In other words, a wallet connection is required to use this tab - LibertyScan has no other way to know which transactions are "yours."


# Searching and Filtering

Above the results table, LibertyScan gives you two ways to narrow things down:

* A **search bar** ("Search by wallet address or transaction hash") for looking up a specific wallet or a specific transaction directly.
* A **Route** filter with **From** and **To** chain selectors (each defaulting to **All Chains**), plus a small swap-direction icon between them that flips your From and To selections.

Clicking either the **From** or **To** selector opens a searchable dropdown ("Search chains...") listing every network LibertyScan can filter by. The full list, in order, is:

The three **"(Railgun)"** entries represent private, shielded balances rather than a public chain — they line up exactly with the three networks currently listed as shielding-capable in Shielding Tokens (Ethereum, BNB Chain, and Arbitrum). Selecting one of these lets you filter specifically for shield or unshield activity to or from that network's Railgun balance.

Set From, To, or both, or use the search bar, to look up transactions along a specific path (for example, Ethereum → PulseChain) instead of scrolling through the full feed.


# Reading the Results Table

Each row in the results table represents a single tracked transaction, laid out in four columns:

* **From** - the source amount and token (e.g. "52.612606 USDC"), the source chain name underneath, and a **Sender** address below that (shown truncated, e.g. `0xE384...F8ed`).
* **To** - the destination amount and token, destination chain name, and a **Recipient** address. Sender and Recipient are usually the same address (a user bridging to themselves), but not always - they can differ, since Liberty Swap supports sending the output of a swap to a separate destination address.
* **Transactions** - up to two linked entries: a **Deposit** hash (the transaction that sent funds into the route, with a copy icon next to it) and a **Fill** hash (the transaction that completed delivery on the destination side, with an external-link icon to view it elsewhere). Amounts can differ very slightly between From and To beyond what the swap rate alone would explain (visible on several real rows) - most likely reflecting the protocol fee taken from the output side; this page does not restate that mechanic in detail, see Supported Operations and Liberty Swap API for the fee model.
* **Status** - a status pill with a checkmark icon, and a relative timestamp underneath (e.g. "6 minutes ago"). The only status observed in practice so far is **Completed**; other possible values (such as a pending or failed state) were not seen in the sample reviewed and should be confirmed with the team if you need to document them.

# What LibertyScan Does and Doesn't Show

* LibertyScan surfaces information that is already public on-chain - it is a convenience layer for reading that data in one place, not a private or proprietary record kept by Liberty Swap.
* Connecting a wallet to use **My Transactions** or **Export** is for filtering the view to your own activity; per Transaction Export, it does not require creating an account or submitting personal information.
* **\[NEEDS CONFIRMATION]** Whether LibertyScan's coverage extends beyond Liberty Swap's own swap/bridge routes to other products that share its navigation bar (Liberty DEX, Liberty Pool, Liberty Shield, Liberty Hypermarket) is unclear. The published Transaction Export page scopes itself to "transactions executed through the Liberty Swap protocol," and separately notes that broader, ecosystem-wide export across DEXs, transfers, liquidity positions, and staking is planned for a future release - implying LibertyScan's current coverage is Liberty Swap-specific rather than ecosystem-wide today.
* The chain dropdown includes three Railgun-specific entries, so shield/unshield routes do appear to be filterable in LibertyScan. **\[NEEDS CONFIRMATION]** No example row using an "(Railgun)" route was reviewed directly, so it's not confirmed whether such rows display a Sender/Recipient address the same way standard rows do, or handle that display differently to preserve Railgun's privacy guarantees (see RAILGUN Private Mode and Transaction Visibility And Knowledge).


# LIBERTY HYPERMARKET

Liberty Hypermarket is a prediction market product built on Hyperliquid, using the HIP-4 event-contract standard and HyperCore as its execution and settlement layer. It lets users trade outcome contracts on real-world events - sports, politics, and crypto - as part of the wider Liberty ecosystem.

Liberty Hypermarket is live at predict.libertyswap.finance (also reachable at perps.libertyswap.finance), and appears in the shared navigation alongside Liberty Swap, Liberty Shield, Liberty DEX, and Liberty Pool.

The app currently exposes two sections:

•       Outcomes - browse and trade prediction-market shares. This is the core, user-facing product.

•       Portfolio - deposit and withdraw funds, and review balances, positions, orders, and trade history.

# How It Works

Liberty Hypermarket markets are structured as outcome shares. Each market asks a yes/no question about a future event (for example, "Will Argentina win the World Cup?"). Shares for an outcome trade between $0 and $1, and the share price reflects the market's implied probability for that outcome.

•       If the outcome occurs, each share pays out $1.

•       If the outcome does not occur, each share is worth $0.

This share-based structure allows Hypermarket to be used two ways:

Speculation. A trader who believes an outcome is under-priced can buy shares below their expected value and profit if the event resolves in their favor.

Hedging. A user with a real-world financial exposure to an event's outcome can buy shares to offset that exposure. For example, a business owner planning a promotion tied to a sports result can buy shares corresponding to that outcome; if the event happens and the promotion becomes costly, the share payout offsets the cost, and if it doesn't happen, the cost of the shares functions similarly to an insurance premium.

Pricing, matching, and settlement of markets are handled by Hyperliquid's HyperCore infrastructure under the HIP-4 event-contract framework.

#### Account Model: Perps and Spot Balances

#### Reading a Market

Each market shows a real-world question (for example, "Will Argentina win the World Cup?") with two sides — typically Yes and No. The price of a share on either side is always between $0.00 and $1.00, and can be read directly as an implied probability. A Yes share trading at $0.65, for example, implies the market currently prices that outcome at roughly 65%.

#### Step-by-Step: Buying a Position

1\.      Go to Outcomes and browse open markets.

2\.      Open the market you want to trade.

3\.      Choose the side (Yes or No) and the amount of shares, or the dollar amount you want to spend.

4\.      Review the estimated cost and potential payout before confirming.

#### Closing a Position Before Resolution

Outcome shares can typically be sold back into the market before the event resolves, at the current market price, rather than held until settlement.

#### What Happens at Resolution

When the underlying event resolves, winning shares settle at $1.00 and losing shares settle at $0.00.

#### Reading Your Open Positions

Open outcome holdings appear under Positions on the Portfolio page (labeled "Open outcome holdings"). Resting (unfilled) limit orders appear under Open orders ("Resting limit orders"), and completed trades appear under Recent fills ("Latest outcome trades").

#### Important Notes

•       A losing outcome position settles to $0 — this is a real loss of the amount spent on those shares, not a temporary drawdown.

•       Market prices can move quickly around real-world news; review the current price immediately before confirming any trade.

•       This page describes the mechanics based on Hypermarket's own marketing description and the fields visible on its Portfolio page. Exact order-entry UI (market vs. limit order flow, slippage handling, minimum trade size) should be verified against the live app before this page is published.

Once selected, the wallet interface and available actions will adjust according to the chosen mode.

#### **When to Use Each Mode**

**Public Mode**

* Best for standard blockchain activity
* Ideal for regular dApp interactions and transparent transactions
* Similar to traditional crypto wallet behavior

**Private Mode**

* Designed for enhanced transaction privacy
* Helps reduce wallet traceability on-chain
* Suitable for users who want greater separation between wallet activity and public blockchain visibility

Users can switch between modes at any time depending on their preferred level of privacy and transaction transparency.


# Managing networks

By default, ZKX Wallet displays all your assets across all supported networks in a unified view.

To switch networks:

1. On the main interface, click the **“All Networks”** selector located on the right side.
2. Choose your desired network from the list.

ZKX Wallet also allows you to add custom EVM-compatible networks:

* Click **Add New Network**.

# Adding a Custom Token

ZKX Wallet allows you to manually add tokens that are not displayed by default.

To add a custom token:

* On the main screen, click **Add Custom Token** at the bottom of the interface.

* In the **Add Token** screen, select the appropriate **Network** and enter the **Token Address**.
* Once the correct token address is provided, the token name and details will be populated automatically.

* Click **Add Token** to complete the process.

The token will now appear in your wallet’s asset list.


# Sending Tokens

To send tokens using ZKX Wallet, follow these steps:

* On the main screen, click **Send**.

* In the **Send Token** interface, enter the recipient’s wallet address.
* Select the token you want to send and enter the amount.

* Check the estimated gas fee. You can adjust the transaction speed - faster speeds require higher gas fees.

Always double-check the recipient address and amount before confirming, as transactions cannot be reversed.


# Speed Up Transaction

The **Speed Up Transaction** feature allows you to accelerate pending blockchain transactions without manually creating replacement transactions or worrying about duplicate transfers.

Although uncommon, network congestion can occasionally cause transactions to remain pending longer than expected. This is most likely to occur during periods of high network activity when gas fees increase rapidly.

With ZKX Wallet, you can quickly resubmit your pending transaction using a higher gas fee, giving it a higher priority for confirmation.

## **Why Transactions Become Stuck**

Blockchain networks such as PulseChain process transactions based on gas fees. During periods of increased demand, validators prioritize transactions offering higher gas prices.

If your transaction was submitted with a gas price that is too low, it may remain pending until network congestion decreases.

## **How to Speed Up a Transaction**

If a transaction remains pending:

1. Open the **Activity** section in ZKX Wallet.
2. Select the pending transaction.
3. Click **Speed Up Transaction**.
4. Choose a higher gas fee (for example, **Ape Gas**).
5. Review the updated transaction details.
6. Confirm the transaction.

The wallet will broadcast a replacement transaction with the same nonce but a higher gas fee, increasing its likelihood of being confirmed sooner.

## **Why Use Speed Up Instead of Sending Again?**

Many crypto wallets require users to manually cancel pending transactions or resend them themselves.

If this process is performed incorrectly, users may encounter problems such as:

* Duplicate transactions
* Nonce conflicts
* Confusing pending transaction states
* Accidentally sending funds multiple times

For example, if you send funds to Alice and then manually submit another transfer because the first appears stuck, you may unintentionally send the payment twice once both transactions are confirmed.

## **Smarter Transaction Management**

ZKX Wallet is designed to simplify pending transaction management and reduce these risks.

Instead of requiring manual intervention, the wallet intelligently handles transaction replacement by prioritizing the original transaction. If conflicting replacement transactions are created, duplicate executions are prevented whenever possible through proper nonce management.

This approach helps users:

* Reduce the risk of accidental duplicate transactions
* Avoid common nonce-related issues
* Resolve pending transactions more safely
* Improve the overall transaction experience during network congestion

## **When Should You Use Speed Up?**

Consider using **Speed Up Transaction** when:

* A transaction has remained pending for an unusually long period.
* Network gas fees have increased significantly since the transaction was submitted.
* You want the transaction to be confirmed more quickly without manually managing replacement transactions.

## **Important Notes**

* Speed Up Transaction does **not** modify the transaction recipient, transferred assets, or transaction data. It only increases the gas fee used to prioritize confirmation.
* A higher gas fee generally increases the probability of faster confirmation but does not guarantee immediate inclusion in a block.
* Always review the updated network fee before confirming the replacement transaction.

By automating transaction replacement and simplifying nonce management, **Speed Up Transaction** provides a safer and more reliable way to handle pending transactions while helping protect users from common mistakes that can occur with manual transaction resubmission.


# Shielding Tokens

ZKX Wallet allows users to shield supported assets into Private Mode using integrated Railgun privacy technology.

Currently, token shielding is supported on the following networks:

* Ethereum
* BNB Chain
* Arbitrum

Support is limited to networks where the underlying Railgun protocol is deployed. Other networks in your wallet (including PulseChain) will gain shielding support as Railgun becomes available there - see the Liberty Swap roadmap for the current timeline.

**Current Limitations**

* Shielding assets using hardware wallets is not supported at this time.
* Support for hardware wallet shielding and additional blockchain networks is currently under development.
* ZKX Wallet is also working on additional shield/unshield modes, including a faster option - if you see more than one mode offered when shielding, check the in-app description of each mode before choosing, as they may differ in speed, cost, or privacy guarantees.

#### **How to Shield Assets**

Follow these steps to shield your assets:

1. Open ZKX Wallet in **Public Mode**.
2. On the main interface, click the **Shield** button located on the right side.
3. Confirm the private address the funds will be shielded into.

**About Private Addresses**

Each public wallet address (`0x...`) automatically generates its own corresponding private address (`0zk...`) within ZKX Wallet. This happens automatically - there is nothing you need to set up, and shielded funds always go to your own private address.

4. Select the asset and amount you want to shield.
5. Review the fee for the transaction, shown before you confirm. Shielding carries a fee, separate from network gas - see Railgun Private Sends: Privacy and Fee Structure for background on how Railgun-related fees work across the Liberty ecosystem.
6. Click **Next**.
7. Review the transaction details carefully, then click **Shield** to confirm.

Once confirmed, the selected assets will begin transferring into your Private Mode balance.

#### **Checking Your Private Balance**

After shielding is completed:

1. Switch to **Private Mode** using the mode toggle in the wallet interface.
2. View your private balance and shielded assets.

Please note that private balance synchronization may take up to 30 minutes in some cases. If your balance does not appear immediately, allow additional time for the system to finish processing and updating the private state. If it still hasn't appeared well beyond that window, verify the transaction went through on a block explorer before reaching out for support.

#### **Important Notes**

* Always verify the selected asset, amount, and fee before confirming a shield transaction.
* Shielded assets are managed separately from publicly visible wallet balances.
* Transaction processing times may vary depending on network conditions.
* For background on what shielding does and does not hide, and general best practices when using Railgun-based privacy, see Private Mode and Use Privacy Protocols Like Railgun.


# Unshielding Tokens

ZKX Wallet allows users to move shielded assets from Private Mode back into their public wallet balance through the Unshield process.

#### **How to Unshield Assets**

Follow these steps to unshield your assets:

1. Open ZKX Wallet in **Private Mode**.
2. On the main interface, click the **Unshield** button located on the right side.
3. Select your destination public wallet address.

⚠️ Double-check this address before continuing. Unshielding sends funds to whatever public address you enter here - it does not have to be the wallet you're currently using, and once confirmed, the transaction cannot be reversed. Sending to the wrong address means those funds are permanently lost.

Choosing a **fresh address you haven't used before** as the destination makes it harder for outside observers to connect the unshielded funds back to your previous wallet activity. Reusing a well-known or previously public address reduces this benefit. See Private Mode for more on why this matters.

4. Choose the asset and amount you want to unshield.
5. Review the fee for the transaction, shown before you confirm. Like shielding, unshielding carries a fee separate from network gas - see Railgun Private Sends: Privacy and Fee Structure for background.
6. Click **Next**.
7. Review the transaction details carefully, then click **Unshield** to confirm.

Once confirmed, the selected assets will begin transferring from your private balance back to your public wallet balance.

#### **Checking Your Public Balance**

After the unshield transaction is completed:

1. Switch back to **Public Mode**.
2. Check your wallet balance on the selected network.

Transaction processing times may vary depending on network conditions and private balance synchronization. If a balance you expect still hasn't appeared after a reasonable wait, verify the transaction on a block explorer before assuming something went wrong.

#### **Important Notes**

* Always verify the destination address before confirming an unshield transaction - this step cannot be undone.
* Unshielded assets will become publicly visible again on the blockchain.
* Sending to a new, previously unused address offers stronger privacy separation than unshielding back to an already-public address.
* Depending on network conditions, balance updates may take some time to appear.
* ZKX Wallet is also working on additional shield/unshield modes, including a faster option - available modes and their trade-offs may evolve, so check the in-app description of each mode at the time you unshield.


# Accessing dApps

ZKX Wallet provides seamless access to a wide range of decentralized applications (dApps), allowing users to easily explore and interact with the DeFi ecosystem directly from the wallet.

The wallet includes an integrated dApp directory featuring various supported platforms across multiple blockchain networks.

### **Connecting to a dApp**

To connect ZKX Wallet to a dApp:

1. Open the dApp section within ZKX Wallet.
2. Browse or select a dApp from the available list.
3. On the selected dApp interface, choose the appropriate wallet connection option.
4. The dApp will automatically detect ZKX Wallet.
5. Approve the connection request within the wallet interface.

Once connected, you can begin interacting with the dApp, including:

* Swapping assets
* Providing liquidity
* Bridging tokens
* Participating in DeFi protocols
* Managing on-chain activities

### **Automatic Wallet Detection**

ZKX Wallet is designed to integrate smoothly with EVM-compatible dApps. In most cases, supported platforms will automatically recognize the wallet extension without requiring additional configuration.

### **Important Notes**

* Always verify the authenticity of a dApp before connecting your wallet.
* Carefully review all transaction and signature requests before approving them.
* Some dApps may require switching to a specific network before interaction.


# Using Batch Transactions

ZKX Wallet supports Batch Transactions, allowing users to combine multiple transactions into a single confirmation flow. This feature helps simplify transaction management and can reduce the number of separate approvals and gas payments required.

Batch Transactions are especially useful for:

* Multiple token swaps
* Sequential DeFi interactions
* Managing several transactions at once
* Improving transaction efficiency

### **How Batch Transactions Work**

Instead of confirming every transaction individually, ZKX Wallet allows you to group multiple actions together and sign them in a single batch.

#### **Step 1**

Whenever you initiate a transaction, the transaction confirmation window will appear.

#### **Step 2**

For the first transaction in the sequence, click **Start a Batch**.

#### **Step 3**

For each additional transaction, click **Add to Batch** instead of confirming individually.

#### **Step 4**

After adding all desired transactions to the batch, click **Sign** to approve and execute the batch transaction.

ZKX Wallet will then process all included transactions together.

# Connecting ZKX Wallet to Keystone

ZKX Wallet supports QR-based hardware wallet connections, allowing users to securely import Keystone accounts and sign transactions or messages in both online and offline environments.

### Importing Keystone Accounts into ZKX Wallet

**Step 1:** Install the ZKX Wallet browser extension and select Import Existing Account.

If you already have ZKX Wallet installed:

* Open the wallet
* Navigate to Account → Add Account → Connect a Hardware Wallet

**Step 2:** Select More, or scroll down and choose the QR-based connection option.

**Step 3:** Allow the ZKX Wallet extension to access your device camera.

**Step 2:** Review the network fee and transaction details carefully.

**Step 3:** Scan the QR code displayed in ZKX Wallet using your Keystone device.

Important:\
Complex transactions or messages may generate dynamic QR codes. If this occurs, allow enough time for the Keystone device to scan the full QR sequence completely.

**Step 4:** Review the transaction details on your Keystone device and select Sign.\
The device will generate a QR-based signature.

**Step 5:** Confirm the signing process on the Keystone device.

**Step 6:** Return to ZKX Wallet, click Get Signature, and scan the QR signature displayed on your Keystone device.

**Step 7:** ZKX Wallet will process and confirm the transaction status.\
Once completed successfully, the transaction will appear in the wallet’s Activity section.

# Connecting ZKX Wallet to imToken

ZKX Wallet supports QR-based connections, allowing users to securely import accounts from imToken and sign transactions or messages through a QR authentication flow.

## Importing imToken Accounts into ZKX Wallet

**Step 1:** Install the ZKX Wallet browser extension and select Import Existing Account.

If you already have ZKX Wallet installed:

* Open the wallet
* Navigate to Accounts → Add Account → Connect a Hardware Wallet

**Step 2:** Select More, or scroll down and choose the QR-based connection option.

**Note:** imToken currently does not support EIP-7702. Gas fees must be paid using the network’s native token.

**Step 3:** Scan the QR code displayed in ZKX Wallet using the imToken mobile application.

**Important:** Complex transactions or messages may generate dynamic QR codes. If this occurs, allow enough time for the device to scan the full QR sequence completely.

**Step 4:** Review the transaction details in the imToken application and click Send.

**Step 5:** Confirm the transaction to generate the QR-based signature.

**Step 6:** Return to ZKX Wallet, click Get Signature, and scan the QR signature displayed in the imToken application.

**Step 7:** ZKX Wallet will process and confirm the transaction status.\
Once completed successfully, the transaction will appear in the wallet’s Activity section.

# Manually Switching RPC URLs

ZKX Wallet lets you choose which RPC endpoint is used for any network already configured in your wallet, and add your own custom RPC endpoints - without removing or re-adding the network. This is useful when a network's default RPC is slow, rate-limited, temporarily down, or when you prefer a private or self-hosted RPC endpoint.

Switching the RPC URL only changes which server your wallet talks to for reading and broadcasting on-chain data. It does **not** change your account, address, balances, or transaction history.

#### Before You Start

* This works for any network already in your wallet - built-in networks (PulseChain, Ethereum, OP Mainnet, BNB Chain, Polygon, Monad) as well as networks you added yourself via Chainlist or manually.
* You do not need to remove the network to change its RPC - everything happens inside that network's **Edit network** screen.

#### Step 1 - Open Settings

Click the ZKX Wallet icon to open the extension, then open **Settings**.

The Settings panel shows two columns of options:

#### Step 2 - Select the Network and Open Edit

The Networks screen has two panels:

* On the left, a searchable list of your networks (**Search for network**), with **Add network from Chainlist** and **Add network manually** at the bottom.
* On the right, **Network details** for whichever network is selected - shown read-only, with **Edit** and **Disable** buttons in the top-right corner.

Click the network you want to change (for example, **PulseChain**), then click **Edit**. This opens the **Edit network** window for that network.

#### Step 3 - Choose a Different Default RPC URL

Inside **Edit network**, under **Network details**, you'll see:

* **Network name**, **Currency Symbol**, and **Currency Name** - shown but not editable here.
* An **RPC URL** input field with an **Add** button next to it (see Step 4).
* **Select default RPC URL** - a list of every RPC endpoint currently available for this network, each with a radio button. The endpoint with the filled/green radio button is the one your wallet is actively using.
* **Chain ID** and **Block Explorer URL** - shown but not editable here.

To switch RPCs, simply click the radio button next to a different endpoint in the **Select default RPC URL** list.&#x20;

For example, on PulseChain you may see multiple options such as `https://rpc.pulsechain.com`, `https://rpc.gigatheminter.com`, and `https://rpc-pulsechain.g4mm4.io` — clicking any one of them selects it as the new default.

On the right-hand side of the Edit network window, an **Available features** box lists what the network supports (for example, whether smart contract wallets are supported, whether transaction simulation is supported, and whether token prices are available).

#### Step 4 - (Optional) Add a Custom RPC URL

If you want to use an RPC endpoint that isn't already listed:

1. Paste the RPC URL into the **RPC URL** field near the top of the Edit network window.
2. Click **Add**.
3. The new endpoint appears in the **Select default RPC URL** list below, alongside the existing options.
4. Click its radio button to make it the active default.

#### Step 5 - (Optional) Remove a Custom RPC URL

Hovering over an entry in the **Select default RPC URL** list reveals a red **Remove** link next to it. Click **Remove** to delete that RPC endpoint from the list.

#### Step 6 - Save Your Changes

At the bottom of the Edit network window are two buttons: **Cancel** and a second button that reads **No changes** (greyed out) until you actually change something, at which point it becomes **Save** (active, blue).

1. Once you've selected a different RPC (and/or added or removed one), click **Save**.
2. A green confirmation banner appears at the top of the window: **"\[Network name] settings saved!"** - for example, "PulseChain settings saved!" - with a small **×** to dismiss it.
3. Close the window to return to the Networks screen, which now reflects your updated RPC selection.

#### Important Notes

* If the RPC you switch to is invalid, overloaded, or offline, your wallet may fail to load balances or broadcast transactions on that network. If this happens, reopen **Edit network** and switch back to a working RPC.
* Always double-check a custom RPC URL before adding it - connecting to an untrusted or malicious RPC endpoint could expose which addresses and balances you're viewing, or serve your wallet incorrect chain data.
* The **Save** button stays disabled ("No changes") until a real change is detected - if you don't see it become active after clicking a radio button, make sure you actually selected a different endpoint than the one already active.

Built from the same trusted codebase as the ZKX Wallet Extension, it delivers the same security, functionality, and user experience across virtually any device.

Whether you're using a desktop, laptop, tablet, or smartphone, you can securely access your wallet from:

* Windows
* macOS
* Linux
* Android
* iOS (Safari, Chrome, and other modern browsers)
* ChromeOS
* Any device with a modern web browser

No native installation is required. For a more app-like experience, the Web App can also be installed as a **Progressive Web App (PWA)** on supported devices.

### **Secure by Design**

The ZKX Wallet Web App remains fully self-custodial. Your private keys are encrypted and remain under your exclusive control at all times. The wallet utilizes encrypted passkey-based security to protect your HOT wallet without requiring identity verification or dependence on centralized backup services.

### **Full Feature Compatibility**

The Web App includes the same core functionality available in the ZKX Wallet Extension, including:

* Public Mode and Private Mode powered by Railgun
* Shielding and unshielding supported assets

# Getting Started

#### Creating or Importing an Account

From **Settings → Accounts**, open **Add an account** to add a wallet. Five options are available:

1. **Add from stored recovery phrases** — creates an additional account derived from a recovery phrase already stored in the wallet.
2. **Create new recovery phrase** — generates a brand-new seed phrase and account.
3. **Import an account** — restores an existing wallet using either a recovery phrase or a private key.
4. **Connect a hardware wallet** — supports Trezor, Ledger, GridPlus, SafePal, and QR-based hardware wallets.
5. **Watch an address** — adds a read-only account by address, with no signing capability.

**Important: private-key-only accounts cannot use privacy features**

An account imported using only a private key can view and transact with public balances, but it **cannot** use Private Mode, Shield, or Unshield. These features require deriving a Railgun viewing key, which is only possible from a full recovery phrase (seed phrase).

If you try to open Shield on a private-key-only account, the Web App shows a tooltip explaining that a private wallet requires a seed phrase, and navigating directly to the Shield URL redirects you back to the dashboard. If you plan to use Private Mode, make sure the account was created or imported with a recovery phrase rather than a private key alone.

#### The Home Screen (Dashboard)

The Home screen shows:

* **Estimated Balance** for the active account
* A **portfolio allocation** breakdown
* A **Recent Activity** feed

A network filter, set to **All Networks** by default, narrows the view to a single chain — for example PulseChain, Ethereum, OP Mainnet, BNB Chain, Polygon, Base, or Arbitrum. A second filter switches the asset view between **Tokens**, **NFTs**, and **DeFi positions**. Click the eye icon next to the balance to toggle its visibility; when hidden, the numeric balance is replaced with masked dots.


# Public Mode vs Private Mode

ZKX Wallet Web App operates in one of two modes, toggled with the **Public / Private** switch near the account name:

* **Public Mode** displays ordinary on-chain balances tied to the account's public (`0x…`) address. Standard sending, receiving, and swapping happen here.
* **Private Mode** displays Railgun shielded balances tied to the account's private (`0zk…`) address. The interface switches to an orange/amber accent to visually distinguish it from Public Mode.

**Switching into Private Mode for the first time**

The first time you switch to Private Mode, the wallet scans encrypted Railgun notes belonging to your account's viewing key. This is shown as a percentage loader — in testing, this progressed from roughly 5% to 18% within about 15 seconds — with a notice that the initial load may take up to **15 minutes**. Subsequent switches are faster, since the wallet no longer needs to scan from scratch.

**Swap & Bridge always requires Public Mode**

If you open **Swap & Bridge** while in Private Mode, the app automatically switches you back to Public Mode, since swapping and bridging only operate on public balances, not shielded ones.


# Managing Accounts

**Settings → Accounts** lists every account added to the wallet, each shown with its public address (and its private address, once Private Mode has been used at least once). From this screen you can:

* Add further accounts, using the same five-option panel described in 2.1 Creating or Importing an Account
* Switch the active account
* Review account details

**Settings → Recovery phrases** lists the recovery phrases stored in the wallet. This list is empty for accounts created purely from a private key import, which is expected — see the note in 2.1 on why private-key-only accounts have reduced functionality.


# Managing Networks

**Settings → Networks** shows every configured network — PulseChain, Ethereum, BNB Chain, Polygon, Base, Arbitrum, OP Mainnet, and others. Selecting a network opens an edit screen showing:

* Its **RPC URL**, which can be changed manually if the default endpoint becomes slow or unavailable
* A list of **Available features** supported on that network

**Important Notes**

* Changing a network's RPC endpoint affects only how your wallet connects to that chain — it does not change which assets or contracts exist on it.
* If you experience connection issues on a specific network, check **Available features** first to confirm the network supports what you're trying to do.


# Sending Tokens (Public Mode)

The **Send** screen is titled **"Send public tokens"** while in Public Mode.

1. Choose the **token** you want to send.
2. Enter the **recipient address**.
3. Specify the **amount**.
4. Optionally, use **Start a batch** to queue this transfer alongside others instead of sending it immediately.
5. Use the **Address Book** shortcut to reuse a previously saved address.

**Important Notes**

* Always double-check the recipient address before confirming - public transfers cannot be reversed once broadcast.
* Public sends are visible on-chain and can be viewed through a block explorer.


# Receving Tokens (Public Mode)

Open **Receive** to display a modal containing:

* A **QR code** of your account's public address
* The **address text**, for copying
* A **Supported networks** row showing which chains that address can safely receive funds on

Only send funds on a network listed under **Supported networks** for that address. Sending an asset on an unsupported network can result in permanent loss of funds.


# Swap & Bridge

**Swap & Bridge** provides in-wallet token swapping and cross-chain bridging. It only operates on **public balances** - opening it while in Private Mode automatically switches the wallet back to Public Mode first, as noted in Public Mode vs. Private Mode.

The interface includes:

* A **Top pair** suggestion
* **You send** and **You receive** fields
* A **Gasless mode** toggle
* **Minimum / maximum amount** limits for the selected pair
* A **Before you swap** panel summarizing key conditions before you confirm

**Important Notes**

* Review the **Before you swap** summary every time - minimums, maximums, and rates can vary by token pair and network.
* Gasless mode lets the swap proceed without requiring a separate native gas token balance in the source wallet; see Common Issues While Using Liberty Swap → Gasless Mode Not Available if the toggle isn't available for your selected pair.


# Shielding Tokens (Entering Private Mode)

Shield converts public tokens into private Railgun balances. As noted in 2.1, this is only available on accounts that have a recovery phrase — private-key-only imports cannot shield assets.

The Shield screen includes:

* **Add recipient** - the destination is always a private `0zk` address, typically your own private address.
* **Route selection** - choose between:
  * **Fast route**: roughly 2 minutes, a **0.5% fee**, supports receiving a different token than the one you sent, and covers roughly six chains.
  * **Slow route**: roughly 60 minutes, a **0.25% fee**, but the recipient receives the **same token** that was sent, and supports fewer chains.
* **You send** - choose the source token and network (for example, USDC on PulseChain), within the token's minimum and maximum shieldable amount (observed as roughly **10–25,000 USDC**). The token picker groups available assets by network: PulseChain, BNB Chain, Ethereum, Base, Arbitrum, Polygon.
* **You receive** - shows the destination token labeled with a **RAILGUN** suffix (for example, "USDC · RAILGUN"). Available destination networks can be narrower than the source options — for USDC, only Ethereum and BNB Chain were available as receive networks during testing.
* **Gasless mode** - enabled by default; when enabled, the shielding fee is used to cover gas costs so you don't need a separate native token balance to complete the transaction.
* **One last check** - a confirmation summary showing the chosen route, gasless mode status, the resulting private RAILGUN balance, and an explicit warning to double-check the recipient address.


# Unshielding Tokens

Unshield converts private Railgun balances back into public tokens.

If the wallet is in Public Mode when you open **Unshield**, it automatically switches to Private Mode and shows a banner instructing you to let the private wallet finish loading balances before unshielding. Once balances are loaded, the Unshield flow mirrors the Shield flow — recipient, route, send/receive amounts, and **One last check** — but in the reverse direction.

**Important Notes**

* Wait for the private balance to finish loading before starting an unshield — attempting to unshield from a partially synced balance can be confusing or show incomplete amounts.
* As with shielding, double-check the recipient address before confirming; unshield transactions cannot be reversed.


# Sending Private Tokens

While in Private Mode, the **Send** screen becomes **"Send private tokens."** Instead of a standard address field, it requires a **Private address** (a `0zk` address).

A **Before you send** panel highlights three important points:

* Private transfers do **not** appear on the public on-chain ledger.
* The `0zk` recipient address must be checked carefully — private sends cannot be undone.
* Generating the zero-knowledge proof required for the transfer may take some time to complete; this is expected and not a sign of a stuck transaction.


# Receiving Tokens Privately

While in Private Mode, **Receive** opens a **"Private receive"** modal showing:

* A **QR code** of your `0zk` address
* A **Supported networks** row

Private receive supports fewer networks than public receive — in testing, only Ethereum, BNB Chain, and Arbitrum were shown. Confirm the sender is using a supported network before sharing your private address.


# Batch Transactions

The **Send** screen offers a **Start a batch** option, letting you group multiple send operations into a single batch flow instead of submitting each transfer separately. This is useful when sending to several recipients or sending multiple tokens at once, since it reduces the number of individual signing steps.


# Accessing dApps

The **Apps** section is a directory of decentralized applications reachable directly from within the wallet, including entries such as Liberty Swap, Liberty Dex, Drops, Bitrefill, Snapshot, and Guild. Use the **Favorites** and **Connected** filters, or browse by category, to find a dApp quickly.


# Connecting Hardware and QR-Based Wallets

Under **Settings → Accounts → Add an account → Connect a hardware wallet**, the Web App supports:

* Trezor
* Ledger
* GridPlus
* SafePal
* Generic QR-based hardware wallets

Once connected, hardware-secured accounts are managed through the same interface as software accounts.

**Current Limitations**

* Shielding assets using a hardware wallet is not currently supported.


# Activity and Transaction History

The **Activity** screen (mirrored under **Settings → Transaction history**) lists past transactions for the active account and mode.

* **In Public Mode:** if the account was imported rather than created fresh in this wallet, the app cannot retrieve transactions that occurred before the import. A link is provided to view the full history on Etherscan instead.
* **In Private Mode:** Activity shows a **"Syncing private activity"** state while it scans the private ledger. The first sync can take a few minutes.
