Supported Operations
Liberty Swap provides cross-chain swap and bridge operations centered on moving liquidity into and out of PulseChain. Supported networks, routes, and assets are shown in the interface and in the Liberty Swap API documentation. Routes between non-PulseChain networks may be enabled when liquidity and execution reliability meet protocol requirements.
π Standard Swaps
In Standard Mode, Liberty Swap executes swaps using gas abstraction and intent-based routing. The user connects an EVM-compatible wallet (e.g. MetaMask, Rabby, Internet Money, or Pulse Wallet), submits a swap intent, and signs a single transaction that starts the route. Relayers then execute the remaining steps. Execution typically completes within minutes, depending on network conditions, and users do not always need to hold the gas token of each chain.
Standard Mode transactions are public and can be viewed on block explorers.
Order IDs and Transaction Data
Each swap is assigned an Order ID for status tracking in the interface. Order IDs expire after 24 hours. After a swap, the interface may display the Order ID and the on-chain transaction hashes, which users can verify on public block explorers. Transaction data is handled as described in the Privacy Policy.
π΅οΈ Private Swaps
Private Mode routes assets through RAILGUN, an on-chain zero-knowledge privacy system, and is designed to improve transaction privacy. Liberty Swap relayers deposit funds into RAILGUN contracts, and zero-knowledge proofs are used so that the sender, recipient, and amounts are encrypted on-chain. Liberty Swap does not have access to viewing keys or private balances.
Private Mode may take longer than Standard Mode because of proof generation and verification. Privacy is not absolute: timing, amounts, and user behavior can still allow transactions to be correlated.
Gas Policy and Execution Costs
Where possible, transaction fees are bundled or sponsored at the protocol level, allowing users to complete swaps without holding chain-native gas tokens. Execution costs and protocol fees are disclosed before confirmation and depend on the selected route and execution mode.
