# Core Architecture

Liberty Pool utilizes a concentrated liquidity market maker (CLMM) model.

Unlike traditional constant-product automated market makers where liquidity is distributed uniformly across the entire price curve, concentrated liquidity allows providers to allocate liquidity within custom price ranges.

This architecture improves capital efficiency by concentrating liquidity around actively traded market prices.

Liquidity providers may:

* define custom price ranges
* deploy liquidity with higher precision
* earn fees only while liquidity is active within the selected range
* rebalance positions as market conditions evolve

The protocol is optimized for:

* efficient liquidity utilization
* lower slippage for traders
* scalable liquidity routing
* integration with aggregation protocols
