# Overview

*For people buying and selling tokens on the Launchpad, and for people launching them. No programming knowledge required.*

Liberty Launchpad is a pump.fun-style token launch platform running on **PulseChain**, using **PLS** as the settlement currency.

## What Makes It Different

* **No upfront capital, no presale, no whitelist.** Tokens are buyable from the first second.
* **Price is set by a formula, not by a person.** Buying pushes the price up, selling pushes it down, along a fixed curve written into the contract. See [Bonding Curve & Pricing](/liberty-launchpad/overview/bonding-curve-and-pricing.md).
* **Nobody can freeze wallets, mint more tokens, or change the rules mid-flight.** There is no admin switch.
* **At the finish line, liquidity moves to a DEX and is locked forever.** The creator cannot pull it. See [Migration to LibertySwap](/liberty-launchpad/migration-to-liberty-swap.md).
