Edge Cases & Price Protection

The DEX pool is created the moment the token is launched, not at graduation. The reason: anyone is allowed to create a pool, and whoever creates it first sets its price. Doing it early means the Launchpad always wins that race.

Even so, someone may try to push the pool price elsewhere to disrupt graduation.

How the System Handles It

Automatic price walk-back. The contract has its own budget (1% of the liquidity token allocation) to trade the pool price back where it belongs. This runs automatically at launch and again at graduation. The budget cannot turn into a loss β€” every walk-back trade stops exactly at the target price and never crosses it.

Anyone can restore the price. There is a public function that lets anybody push the pool price back to the correct level. No tokens required, no permissions required. The destination is fixed, so it cannot be abused β€” the price can only move toward the right level, never past it.

The deposit is all-or-nothing. If the pool price is wrong, the contract refuses to deposit rather than depositing anyway. The curve stays closed, the funds stay intact, and anyone can trigger graduation again once the price is back. Retries are unlimited and there is no time limit.

Check before you buy: the interface shows whether the pool is currently sitting at the correct graduation price. If it is off, wait for it to be restored before trading.

The Last Resort: Wind-Down

If 7 days pass after the curve closes and the pool is still pinned at someone else's price, anyone can trigger wind-down:

  • Buying closes permanently.

  • Selling reopens β€” everyone takes their money back out at the curve price.

  • The token never lists and transfers never unlock.

To avoid this outcome, all that is needed is to restore the pool price and trigger graduation before the 7 days run out.
