# Depositing and Withdrawing Funds

Before you can trade on Liberty Hypermarket, you need to deposit funds into your Hypermarket account. This page walks through the Deposit and Withdraw flow as it appears on the Portfolio page.

#### Step-by-Step: Depositing

1\.      Go to predict.libertyswap.finance/portfolio and connect your wallet.

2\.      Click Deposit.

3\.      Confirm the deposit amount, and complete the transaction in your wallet.

4\.      Your balance will appear on the Portfolio page once the deposit is confirmed.

#### Step-by-Step: Withdrawing

6\.      Go to Portfolio.

7\.      Click Withdraw.

8\.      Confirm the amount and destination.

9\.      Confirm the transaction in your wallet.

#### Important Notes

•       Always confirm you are depositing from a network and asset that Liberty Hypermarket actually supports before sending funds.

•       Double-check the Perps vs. Spot choice before depositing — see Page 2 for background on why this choice exists.

•       If in doubt, deposit a small test amount first.
