This Privacy Policy outlines how Liberty Swap (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and safeguards personal and transactional data when users (“you,” “your,” or “user”) engage with our services via our website and swap interface (collectively, the “Services”).

Liberty Swap is founded on the belief that financial freedom and data sovereignty go hand-in-hand. Our platform is engineered to minimize data collection and promote user autonomy while still enabling effective customer support and maintaining compliance with relevant regulations.

2. Types of Data We Collect

A. Transaction Data

When you perform a swap—standard or private—we may temporarily collect:

  • Sender and receiver wallet addresses

  • Token types and amounts sent/received

  • Timestamps and routing data

Note: Liberty Swap does not tie these data points to real-world identities, nor do we attempt to deanonymize blockchain data.

B. Optional Account Data (for Staking/Support Services)

If you opt into services like staking or open a support ticket, we may collect:

  • Wallet address (public)

  • Telegram or social handle (if support is requested via social media)

  • User-submitted metadata (e.g., screenshots, logs)

We never request or store private keys or seed phrases.

3. Data Retention & Deletion

  • Automatic Retention: Transaction data is retained for 24 hours to support issue resolution.

  • User-Initiated Deletion: Users may opt to delete their transaction data immediately after a swap. This may limit our ability to troubleshoot issues post-swap.

  • Extended Retention: In case of ongoing support matters, data may be retained beyond 24 hours and deleted upon resolution.

All deletions are handled via automated backend systems with no manual override.

4. Privacy Modes

A. Standard Mode

For Standard Mode, Liberty Swap facilitates user-initiated blockchain transactions using account abstraction and intent-based routing. Transactions are recorded on public blockchains and are publicly observable via standard blockchain explorers. Liberty Swap does not collect or retain personal data, wallet addresses, or transaction histories, and does not monitor or analyze user activity beyond transient processing required to execute the requested operation. Users independently verify transactions using on-chain data.

B. Private Mode

Private Mode is conducted with on-chain zero-knowledge privacy technology to enable transactions that obscure sender addresses, recipient addresses, asset types, and transferred amounts at the blockchain level. Transactions are executed using cryptographic proofs rather than transparent transfers. Liberty Swap does not have access to private balances, viewing keys, or decrypted transaction data and does not retain any off-chain records of private transactions. While this mode is designed to enhance transactional confidentiality, Liberty Swap does not provide legal anonymity guarantees and users remain responsible for complying with applicable laws and regulations in their jurisdiction.

5. Legal & Regulatory Disclosure

We comply with lawful requests from authorities, as mandated by applicable jurisdiction, but do not store personal data that can be proactively shared. Requests are reviewed for legal validity before any cooperation occurs.

6. Use of Personal Data

We may use collected data for:

  • Transactional support

  • Service optimization

  • Fraud prevention

  • Legal compliance

  • Statistical analysis

We do not use your data for marketing or share it with advertisers.
